Classified ads should be sent by email by the 15th of the month
and paid by credit card by the 17th for the following month’s issue.
Send classifieds by email to FrontPorch3 @ gmail.com (or click here to send email). In addition to the ad content, list name, address, phone and email for our billing department’s use. Front Porch staff are not available to assist in writing ads.
Classified ad cost is 25¢ per character (including spaces). Minimum is $15/month.
We suggest you count the characters (including spaces) or use a word processing program to count characters so you’ll know the cost of the ad prior to ordering.

Front Porch will email back to confirm receipt of ad and amount due, and provide a phone number to call and make a credit card payment. Classified ads are text only, no graphics and no bold or italic and no custom line returns (text will flow the width of the column) are available.
The Front Porch offers a Service Directory separate from other classifieds.
The categories “Misc Home Services,” “Misc Personal Services” and “Misc. Business Services” will be available every month. In addition, categories that contain two or more listings will also be used. Such headings may include: Design/Remodel/Handyman, Painting, Electrical/Plumbing, Landscape & Yards, Housecleaning.
To keep a well-organized and consistent format so readers can easily find specific services in the classified ads, the Front Porch asks that the first word be the simple generic term for the service offered and will print the basic generic term in capital letters (for example, PLUMBER, HANDYMAN, REMODELING, SHARPENING, HOUSECLEANING, etc.).
Only the basic generic term for the service offered will be listed in caps, with the remainder in regular type (adjectives and company names will be in regular type).
Other Classifieds Not in the Service Directory
A separate section of the classified ads will include Jobs, For Sale, For Rent, Other. Minimum ad price, as above, is $15. The Front Porch will capitalize only the basic generic description at the beginning of the ad. The remainder will be listed in regular type.
The Front Porch does not run personal ads.
The Front Porch reserves the right to refuse to run any ad after reading its contents.
