Fourth of July Festivities

August 1, 2015 / Local Events / No Comments

Stapleton Festivities

Beckett Morris-Lowder, 4, dressed as George Washington, helped lead the parade.

The fourth annual Fourth of July festivities in Stapleton kicked off at 9am at the Fountain Pavilion in Central Park with a pancake breakfast. Proceeds went to the Stapleton Stingrays swim team. Bikers in the parade started through a red, white and blue balloon arch and went around Central Park.

Park Hill Festivities

23rd Avenue was packed with neighbors in lawn chairs, Kool Aid stands, and picnic gatherings on front lawns for the sixth annual Park Hill Fourth of July Parade. The above float was named “Elvis Crosses the Delaware.”
